Sandi Banks has experienced the Lord's faithful hand upon her through various trials of life, and has a passion for pointing others to Him. She is committed to communicating truths from God's Word, encouraging women in their faith, and connecting with those serving the Lord abroad.

She has lived, traveled and ministered in a variety of cultures and countries around the globe, including Africa, Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Ecuador, Germany, Holland, Italy, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Switzerland, Tasmania, United Kingdom, Yugoslavia, Eastern Europe, and 50 U.S. States.

Since 1989, Sandi has enjoyed working for Summit Ministries, traveling and speaking, and serving six years on the board of directors for ACTS International.

Sandi and her husband John live in the Dallas Texas area, near some of their 6 children and 10 grandchildren. In addition to her role as wife, Mom and Gramma, she enjoys music (harp, piano, guitar), language study, travel, Bible study, and freelance writing.

Sandi Banks’ book, Anchors of Hope: Finding Peace Amidst the Storms of Life, offers hope to a hurting world, published by Broadman & Holman 2002. Other published contributions include stories in Readers Digest, Guidepost : Expecting Miracles, and more than a dozen anthologies including Cup of Comfort series, Kisses of Sunshine series by Zondervan, Life Savors series by Tyndale House, Simple Little Words by Cook Publishing, and God Encounters by Simon and Shuster.
